One of the projects being discussed is the collaboration of MacKillop Farm Management Group, the University of Adelaide and Southern Farming Systems on a new two-year GRDC funded project “Development of local strategies to enable the integrated and profitable management of annual ryegrass seed banks in high rainfall zone farming systems of the Southern Region”. Two demonstration sites have been established locally in 2018 – one at Frances and one at Millicent. The Frances site will be included in the crop walk on Tuesday 14th August.
