To our valued members and sponsors,

Like you, we have been watching the ongoing situation with the spread of COVID-19 closely over the past weeks. Our priority is to keep our staff, project managers, and the community in which we work as safe as possible.

We have made the decision to cancel or postpone all face-to-face events until we are confident that the elevated risk from COVID-19 has passed. We will be monitoring the situation closely, and will continue to respond in line with recommended guidance from the Australian Government whilst weighing up the risks for our organisation.

All of our staff and project managers will continue to work as normal, and will continue to be available by phone and email. Upcoming events and field work will be conducted online or over the phone where possible, or postponed until such time as the COVID-19 risk has decreased.

We’re aware that farming can be a solitary way of life, and that there is a risk to our ag community of mental health deterioration exacerbated by the current COVID-19 situation. If you need to talk to someone, we encourage you to get in touch with one of the many organisations that can help.

If you’re not sure that the information you’re seeing online and in the media is correct, there are a number of websites you can access that have reliable information on COVID-19.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and most importantly, be kind to one another.
