Monday 17th August 2009
Travel to Cubbie Station at Dirranbandi via coach, with lunch provided.
Travel to St George for BBQ on the banks of the river, on the property of guest speaker – Ian Todd (large
irrigation and dryland farm and shareholder in Case dealership). Overnight in St George at the Riverland
Motor Inn.

Tuesday 18th August 2009
Tour of Moonrocks which is a short distance from St George.
Lunch in St George
Travel to Coggan family property at Westmar – Home of the World Record attempt to plant the largest
paddock of wheat in the world.
Travel to Dalby for overnight stay.
Free evening with dinner at own expense

Wednesday 19th August 2009
Tour of Simplicity Australia and Daybreak Equipment in Dalby.
Visit local property (accompanied by local agronomist) using minimum soil disturbance weed control, crop
rotations and controlled traffic techniques.
Travel to Toowoomba for dinner provided at Local Steak Restaurant with a guest speakers, Michael Burgis
from Conservation Farming and Lloyd O’Connell from Australian Grain.

Thursday 20th August 2009
Attend University of SE QLD for presentation on Precision Irrigation Application, accompanied by Graham
Harris from DPI Qld then visit properties using pivots and lateral movers for irrigation application on the
Darling Downs – Crothers at Dalby and Claphams and Brookstead

Friday 21st August 2009
Free morning prior to transferring to airport for flight departing at 3.40pm and arriving in Adelaide at 6pm.
